Spokane Vintage Swing Festival

This is a Spokane celebration of Jazz Appreciation Month (JAM), a creation of the Smithsonian Institute, with particular attention to Swing one of the original forms of Jazz.  JAM is to highlight an extraordinary music, and is "intended to stimulate and encourage people of all ages to participate in jazz - to study the music, attend concerts, listen to jazz on radio and recordings, read books about jazz, and more."  (Smithsonian Insititute American History Website)  Here is a little history of our event as it has grown and evolved.  We look forward to providing you more festivals and expanding to fulfill the needs of our patrons.
