Hot Foot Houlihan

The test of all tests.  How fast can you shim sham.

About the Dancing:

So the shim sham is the most amazing routine ever.  Why?  Nearly every Swing dancer learns this routine and is performed globally.  It is a modest routine with lots of repeating steps.  What that enables the individual dancer to do is to dance this routine and add a lot of their own personal style.  This contest is to see how fast one can perform each of the steps clearly and being on time with the music.

What to Wear:

Costumes are also not required, but wear clothes that will not burst into flames because of your speed.

About the Music:

Prerecored music in the jazz-era or modern swing music of their choosing.  Tempos will begin at 180 beats per minute.
